Coming 2America movie review

Today I was watching amazon studio Coming 2 America sequel the original coming to america starting Eddie Murphy Arsenio Hall Leslie Jones Wesley Sniper James Earl Jones John Amos Louie Anderson Kiki Layne Jermaine Flower

This totally awesome and it did bring back some of the classic tropes from the first film but I still feel the first film held a gold standard which is always going to be an all time classic. One thing I love about this film is that it picks where the first film left even though it’s 30 years, it feels as if the story never ended. Eddie Murphy is great, as always, playing Akeem and he truly does have the most laughs. Then you add Arsenio Hall’s Semi into the mix the laughter gets even better. The pairing of those 2 just riffing throughout every scene of the film is just awesome. They are the dynamic duo, connective tissue, the heart of Coming to America. The multiple characters both actors play are just spot on, convincing and it’s as if they never left the roles. Eddie Murphy has said couple of times Peter Sellers was a huge inspiration when it came to playing multiple roles and that’s his trademark. The film also looks gorgeous, from the streets of Queens, New York to Akeem’s family home in Zamunda, I was stunned by how vibrant everything looked. Zamunda is nourished in gold and riches that truly pop off the screen. The cinematography is superb and truly adds to the film’s overall look and feel. Ruth Carter who did the costumes for this film did a phenomenal job and I am glad she is getting a star on the Hollywood walk of fame. In the end Coming 2 America is an outright blast and had me laughing from start to finish. Eddie Murphy once again proves that he is a comedic genius and you see him showcasing it nicely throughout this whole film. It amazing give this movie five bowls of guacamole This movie review Coming 2’america starting Eddie Murphy Arsenio Hall Leslie Jones Wesley Sniper  James Earl Jones John Amos Louie Anderson   Kiki  Layne Jermaine  Flower . Good boys movie review

Today went to watching GOOD BOYS was way funnier than I thought it would be. It also struck me as something sort of remarkable. It’s a movie that reflects the possibilities of the time we live in, without cynical nostalgia and toxic wish fulfillment. It’s just a movie about a bunch of main characters, every one of which is, at the core, essentially decent, but who live where we all live. In an R rated world.

Not to spoil anything, but the three young boys at the heart of this grew up immersed in a culture .

They grew up breaking little rules, but knowing that hurting people is why you don’t break the big ones. They understand easily that bullying isn’t cool, that frat boy antics are just weird, and that you don’t need to objectify the person you like, just ask her if it’s okay to kiss her.

Adults aren’t the bad guys here. Sure, they’re strange, but that’s okay. What’s cool, in the end, is the freedom to love what you really love, no matter how cool that thing is. And if you’re the kid who has no guile- who can’t even lie to his parents about the simplest little thing- you can still be the likable star of a movie.

This is the first film I’ve seen in a long time that doesn’t make FUN of the culture that arose following the MeToo movement showcasting

The neighbor girls aren’t stock villains, either. We like them. They are just trying to have fun and bond with each other. Their easy tolerance and playful enmity with the boys just feels sisterly, never really mean.

Even the coolest kid in the school understands when you don’t want to play kissing games, hey, just go play with the VR goggles upstairs. His popularity wasn’t bought by meanness or pettiness. He, like everyone else in the movie, just wants to have fun today.

I feel like this movie may age a bit better than a lot of coming-of long time . This very good movie reel enjoy it and fun watch give this movie four and half bowls gaulamoles.

This mine movie review Good Boys .

Once upon time Hollywood movie review

Today went see the new Quentin Tarantino’s movie Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood visits 1969 Los Angeles, where everything is changing, as TV star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) make their way around an industry they hardly recognize anymore. The ninth film from the writer-director features a large ensemble cast and multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood’s golden age.

Just let know this is guys movie that Once Upon a Time in Hollywood — an intense crime movie written and directed by Quentin Tarantino and starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, and Margot Robbie — is set in 1969 and tangentially involves the Manson Family. As usual for Tarantino, there are scenes of extremely shocking, graphic violence, including a woman’s face being smashed repeatedly against the wall, vicious dog attacks, characters getting burned by a flamethrower, punching, blood spurts, gun use, fighting, and more.

Quentin movie that’s got dazzle and brilliance and a number of hypnotic sequences, and is every inch the work of his fevered movie candy brain, and a Quentin film

I enjoyed this this was other Tarantino masterpiece films this amazing to in to watch theaters totally amazing give movie five bowl of guacamoles is awsome movie .

Jumanji  welcome to jungle movie reviews

Today went see the movie Jumanji. Welcome to the jungle  Starting Dwayne the rock Johnson Kevin Hart Jack Black  Karen Gillan Madison Iseman director. Jake Kasden.

Four high school kids discover an old video game console and are drawn into the game’s jungle setting, literally becoming the adult avatars they chose. What they discover is that you don’t just play Jumanji – you must survive it. To beat the game and return to the real world, they’ll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, discover what Alan Parrish left 20 years ago, and change the way they think about themselves – or they’ll be stuck in the game forever.
